To our THING community,

Today we’re sharing that Seattle Theatre Group (STG) has made the decision to pause THING Festival in 2026. We intend for it to return in the future and will use this time to recalibrate its vision. We want to take time to do THING right and ensure it’s the best it can be. 

STG has enthusiastically taken on two new endeavors in the last year—we now operate The 5th Avenue Theatre and are the owner of Kerry Hall—and we need time to invest in these spaces. 

A wonderful lineup of shows will play Remlinger Farms next summer with our Concerts at the Farm series. I'm excited about the artists we're welcoming and hope you'll join us for a show. When we have updates on the future of THING, you’ll be the first ones to hear from us.
